Danny the Mover is all about service. We are available to move your home or pieces of furniture 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We can perform every aspect of your move, or simply provide basic load/move/unload service if you are more of a do-it-yourself person. Our services include:
Packing
If you plan on doing your own packing, we can provide you with sturdy moving boxes, or you can obtain boxes yourself. Either way, please read our handy Packing Pointers page. If however you want some help with packing, you can choose how much or how little—some customers hire us to pack a few selected items, others want us pack up everything in their home. It’s your call
Disassembly and Reassembly
We will disassemble and reassemble most kinds of furniture for safe transport, unless you wish to do this yourself to save time / money.
Load, Move, and Unload
We are experienced in moving all types of household furniture, appliances, pianos, and everything in between. We can provide loading/unloading services only (if you already have your own truck), or we can come fully prepared with the truck, the gas, the insurance, all necessary moving equipment and tools, thick moving pads to cushion your furniture, and straps to secure the load. Stairs, Long Carries, and Elevators
We do not charge additional fees for moving your goods down long sidewalks, through tight gateways, up stairs, or loading into / out of an elevator. It’s all in a day’s work to us!
On-Site Set Up
We’re not going to bring your furniture into one room and stack it all in the middle. If you’re on hand to tell where each piece belongs, we’re happy to oblige. We are sometimes able to reconnect appliances, but we reserve the right to decide based on the condition of the appliances, hoses, and available hook-ups.
